Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to all visits and transactions at The Post Box Gifts. The use of  our website indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. The placement of an order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully and print a copy for future reference.

 

General

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions.

 

Accuracy of Product Information and Descriptions of Goods

The intention is that all information on the website should be as accurate and up to date as possible. However, we cannot guarantee the reliability or the accuracy of the information contained within its pages where information may come from third parties such as suppliers and manufacturers. All images, sizes, descriptions, specifications and advertising on our site are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods and are not subject to a guarantee of accuracy. 

 

Payment and Price

The total price payable for the goods will be stipulated at the time when you place your order whether or not the order has been confirmed. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in our supplier's prices, or the imposition of any taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission the price published for the goods is wrong whether or not the order has been confirmed. We will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order. All prices on our website are inclusive of VAT but do not include delivery charges. Delivery charges will be displayed and payable as indicated at the time of placing your order.

 

Typographical Errors

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or an error in pricing information from our suppliers, taxes or duty changes, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price whether or not the order has been confirmed. If your credit card has already been charged and we subsequently cancel your order, we will immediately issue a credit to your credit card account to the value of the incorrect price (including delivery charges).

 

Payment Methods

We accept all major credit and debit cards. As part of the secure ordering process you must provide us with your exact billing address and telephone number as also record with your bank. Incorrect information may cause a delay in processing your order or even result in you bank declining payment. Your order will only be processed once authorisation of your card has been properly received.

 

Availability of Goods

All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn without notice. If we are unable to supply the goods for any reason we will not charge you for these and we will refund any money already paid for them. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods.

 

Delivery Charges and Delivery Times

Most orders are delivered within 5 working days. Dates are given in good faith but are not the subject of any warranty or condition. No liability will attach to us if delivery periods or dates are not met. Please feel free to contact us if you have any queries regarding this matter.

 

Time Limitation for Notification of Claims

Shortages: It is your responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the carrier's delivery consignment note. Any shortages must be notified to us within 7 days from delivery.

 

Damaged/Faulty goods: It is your responsibility to notify us of any damaged or faulty goods within 14 days of receiving your order.

 

Incorrect goods: It is your responsibility to notify us of any incorrect goods supplied within 7 days from delivery.

 

Non Deliveries: We will not accept liability for goods lost in transit unless we are notified within 10 days from the expected delivery date

Returns

Thanks for purchasing our products at The Post Box Gifts.  We hope you love our products.  In the event that you need to return an item please email us at info@thepostbox.gifts

 

In order to be eligible for a refund, you have to return the product within 30 calendar days of your purchase. The product must be in the same condition that you receive it and undamaged in any way.

 

After we receive your item, our team will inspect it and process your refund within 3 working days.  The money will be refunded to the original payment method you’ve used during the purchase. For credit card payments it may take 5 to 10 business days for a refund to show up on your credit card statement.

 

If the product is damaged in any way, or you have initiated the return after 30 calendar days have passed, you will not be eligible for a refund.

 

We are unable to cover the delivery costs of the returned package

Exchanges

You are welcome to return items for exchange.  The exchanged item will be sent at no extra cost but if you wish to make additional exchanges these may be at additional delivery costs.

 

Damages

All damages must be reported with 14 days of receiving the item.

 

If an item has arrived damaged please email us at info@thepostbox.gifts including phots of the damaged item.  If the packaging is damaged, please also include photos of this.  

 

If an item should become faulty within 3 months of purchase then please email us for assistance at info@thepostbox.gifts.

 

We do not send out substitutions.

 

Cancellations

You can cancel an order from the time you place it.  This time frame ends 14 days from the day you receive the goods; you then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.

 

If you wish to cancel your order, please let us know as soon as possible by phone 01455 697477 or email info@thepostbox.gifts.  

 

You will need to return the goods as they were received, including tags and gift packaging.  Please be advised that we are unable to cover the cost of returning the item.

 

Your refund will be processed within 7 days of us receiving the items.

The Post Box Gifts is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.  

 

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile.

When you conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.

We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail.
